{sharing my story and a dash of biz advice — with you!}

Today is a special day for me — today I’m guest blogging over at Casey’s AND Ashley’s and I reallllly hope you’ll pop over and see what’s going on :) Both girls are so sweet and I just adore them. Plus, I’m touching on something that I don’t think I’ve shared before, so click over to read that part :]

Here’s a little more info on why I’m sharing my story and a dash of biz advice…

Creating, sharing, and inspiring connects us all together. Every day we are drawn to blogs that make us feel something, and we take a little piece of it with us. Behind every one of our favorite blogs, there’s a person. A person with real emotions, fears, goals, and weird quirks that we never really get to experience first hand. We’ve brought together your favorite bloggers to give you a more intimate take on their lives, so you can catch the little details that make them who they are. Every Wednesday, we’ll be capturing the lives of the people behind your daily reads in a way that you wont experience anywhere else.

So get ready. We have lots to share! xoxo
 Each week on my blog, you will hear a more personal story about one of your favorite bloggers…. why they are the way they are, stories on loss or happiness, struggles or triumphs…we want to have them share the happiest moment of their life, or a time that they grew stronger because of an enormous trial placed in their path.
On Ashley’s blog, they will be sharing any advice they have for you readers. It can be about fashion, being a mom or wife, how to grow your blog, how to start your own business, etc.
Whatever their niche is, you will hear their expert advice!

♥ I hope you’ll click over! I think the series starts at 6am MST, so that’s 7am CST, right? {or did I do that incorrectly?} HAPPY WEDNESDAY!

xoxo

    Love the post!! I tried to leave a comment over at Casey’s but you want to talk about “dork”. I feel like I am so far out of the loop all the time. Yes, I know many of you, but I sooo struggle with keeping a connection. I really don’t know what my problem is. Maybe the fact that I am busy with 5 kids? I think maybe that is a cop out. Maybe I turn people off? I really don’t know. All I know is it makes me feel not good enough, whick is so silly I know, but everyone wants to feel like they fit. Again I loved the blog post:)))

      you do not turn people off — oh gosh, not at all! i think the only way to get done the things we want to get done is to make sure they fit onto our daily schedule. maybe you should shave off an hour if matt cooked dinner 2 nights a week? then you could spend more time doing the things you feel like you are missing out on. or maybe there are other things you could re-arrange to make this happen?

      and what you are feeling is not silly, and the truth is you aren’t alone in those feelings. i struggle with the same thing.

    Just came from Casey’s blog. I want to thank you for sharing your inspirational story. God’s plans are always best. If we try to do it all on our own, there is no way we could possibly imagine or even have the vision for His awesome plan for our lives. Looks like you let go to God and He delivered amazingly! And, I bet you would never have imagined you’d be doing what you’re doing and making a living at it. Good for you and God Bless!

    Thank you SO MUCH for sharing some of your insecurities with the blogging community. I know that’s not an easy thing to do (especially because I don’t often share that myself). I totally relate to the whole “geek” feeling. I just started consistently blogging this past year and I’m still at a point where I feel like my readership is just friends and family. And I don’t want that to sound like it’s a bad thing; it’s AMAZING to have support from friends and family. However, after some time, it’d be nice to expand that readership. And because it’s been a slow process, a lot of times I feel like what I have to say isn’t of interest and that I’m just a loser trying to be a more important blogger than I am. I don’t want this comment to sound negative though! The point is, I appreciate you sharing these fears because it’s comforting to know that I’m not alone. :)

    I loved both of your posts. I appreciate you sharing it all with us, especially the fears, because it helps remind me that I am not alone. I love your tips and such, you really ought to put together a book of all of your tips and such. Just a thought. For now tho, I will go leafing through all of them so maybe I can learn a thing or two. :)
