{7 pretty things on Sunday}

Our weekend has been filled with bright gray skies, which seems to be a gentle reminder that summer is fading quickly and fall will be here soon enough. Thankfully the rain has held off ~ so hubby, Bauer and I have spent hours outside, which has been really wonderful :] Zack has been reading a lot and I’ve been working on an upcoming project on my computer. This edition of 7 pretty things has me thinking of oranges, reds, yellows, anything to remind me of warmth & comfort. I’m ready for my crock pot! I have a feeling this fall & winter will be super busy, so a crock pot will make our evenings together super easy + savor-full.

Which reminds me: I have an empty wreath form sitting in my studio that’s ready to be transformed into something welcoming for our front door. Do you have a tutorial or a photo of your favorite fall wreath? Show ‘em to me in the comments below!
XO.

    Wow, these photos are beautiful!! Love the flowers and the library, and my first car was a 55 Chevy Truck, that’s what came to mind when I saw that awesome truck with the pumpkins! Love it! :)

    I need a wreath for my front door too, I’ll have to check back to see if you got any good wreath tutorial feedback! :) Happy Sunday!

    Hi Gussy! I can’t wait for fall either. It makes such a short appearance where I live that I cherish every bit of it. I’m already loving the pre-season football games in the background and hints of fall in the morning. Here is my favorite fall wreath that I made. I love it because it works perfectly for Christmas and matches my home perfectly too!

    I love the picture of the birch trees! I’ve always been obsessed with the bark on them, and I just love the contrast of the orange with the white & black. I’m very ready for Autumn!

    No real tutorial…but my summer wreath is a straw wreath wrapped in linen with linen rolled flowers….but I”m about to change it out for Fall…and that will consist of a burlap wrapped wreath with burlap flowers. On my red front door! Ahhh! I love fall!
