{Giveaway Day :: coming soon!}

Hello creative + crafty darlings,

Guess what’s on the agenda for today? You guessed it, the upcoming Giveaway Day!

Giveaway Day is a 3-day event where a handmade shop is featured each hour along with a giveaway item. The goal is to increase awareness of your handmade shop through a little celebration. Yeow!

Giveaway Day is set for Monday, July 12-14.

If you have a handmade shop, I want to hear from you {details below}! I heart giveaway day. Plus, it’s very encouraging {for you and me} to see the comments pour in as we all l-o-v-e to win cute things, as well as find new handmade shops to bookmark!

Giveaway Day is a sure way to promote your shop, drive traffic, and expand your social network.

Imagine all the fun this will be… I can hardly wait, and I’m the one in charge!

Here are the details:

Those chosen will be required to pay a $30 entry fee via PayPal
$25 minimum for giveaway item (item or shop credit)
If accepted, you’ll receive a short & sweet individual post featuring you and your wares
Giveaway Day starts Monday, July 12 and ends Wednesday, July 14 at 10pm CST — all winners are announced Thursday mid-morning
Each hour a new shop is featured; the Gussy community is then encouraged to read and enter the previous giveaways

The goal is to offer a new shop/giveaway every hour.

*For Giveaway Day to be successful and benefit all parties involved, it’s really important that I offer no more than 2 shops in any given category.

Take a look at the number of comments left {over 2,400/15 shops} on my most recent Giveaway Day:

If you’re interested in GD, send me an email with:

“GIVEAWAY DAY” in the subject line
your shop URL {in “http://” format}
your blog URL {in “http://” format}
what you are giving away {item or shop credit}
if the giveaway is open to Canada or all International countries
and a few photos of your product and the giveaway item

The deadline to enter yourself in Giveaway Day is Monday, June 28.

Once you’ve submitted your application, watch your email to see if your shop will be in the next Giveaway Day! All responses will have been delivered by Tuesday, June 29th!

PS. Aside from Giveaway Day, the only way to promote your shop on Gussy has a lot to say {and sew} is to become a sponsor and participate in the optional mid-month sponsor group giveaway (which is also awesome).
